The village of Snyadin ("SNYAH-din"), in southern Belarus, where we lived for three weeks while working on Valentina Sergevna Vyargi's Snyadin II excavation.

The village is located in the Pripyat marshes around the Pripyat River, a tributary of the Dnieper.
